Gold is necessary to purchase upgrades, supplies and hire soldiers. If you need more gold,  Little Empire Mojo increase your tax rate from the Fortress. However, if you raise taxes too much or too often, it is detrimental to the happiness of your people. Build homes in your city to increase population and thus increase your tax revenue.  Buy Little Empire Mojo You also receive gold and resources upon a successful attack of another player.

Defense
Defense is imperative to the safety of your city. If your city's defenses are weak, enemies can easily attack or plunder your resources and structures. Click the Wall and select "Defend" to make sure your troops are set to defend the city. Upgrade your Wall and Dragon Keep to the highest level possible.  Cheap Little Empire Mojo Keep a large number of highly skilled troops along your Wall. For emergencies, you can purchase a Cease Fire Treaty from the shop. The Treaty prevents attacks on your city for 12 hours.
